Amid the recent spread of M-Fox (monkey du Chang), China said that anyone who has come into contact with an M-Fox infected person should report it to customs when entering the country.
According to China's General Administration of Customs on the 16th, if you have contact with an infected person or have symptoms such as fever, headache, back pain, and muscle pain, you must report it to customs when entering China from a country or region where M.Fox has occurred.
Customs officers can take medical measures and conduct sample inspections according to procedures.
In addition, transportation, containers, and cargoes that have already been contaminated or are likely to be contaminated with the virus in the country or region where M.Fox has occurred must be sanitized according to regulations.
The notice will remain in effect for six months after the announcement. The countries and regions of the M.Fox outbreak are based on those published by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Authorities explained that the measures are implemented in accordance with the "Border Sanitation and Quarantine Act" and enforcement regulations to prevent the influx of Empox into China and protect the health and safety of the people.
